Ashley has always had a love for creating; whether it be drawing; painting; graphic design; crafting; or sewing. At a young age, she would dress up in costume, either for fun or participating in dance recitals. During high school, she focused on art and developed her sewing skills. Ashley knew she wanted to go into designing, but didn’t feel like fashion design was the right direction. She wanted something that held more creative freedom, more fantasy. For as long as she could remember, she had always loved watching movies, set in dramatic historical periods. Whether it be from the classical to the Victorian, it drew her into their world. Studying Art History in college, Ashley decided to pursue costume design. She wanted to use her love of history and design to create unique pieces.
